In the meantime i received more mails, complaining that a trojan in the self installing version of the xp-AntiSpy is found. This also concerns the software AntiVir.
So i wrote to the owners of Bitdefender and AntiVir to state that this is a false positive.
Please keep providing me with the details if you virus scanning software is detecting a Trojan or a Virus.
Please include the following infos:
- Which software detects the malicious code
- Which version
- The date of you virus database (it’s mostly the date of the last time you did a update)
- Name of the detected Trojan/Virus
